Reading and Reuse Terms
Purpose and use
Channel Black Media publishes educational and interpretive material at channelblackmedia.com. These terms apply when you use the site.
Articles about history, rhetoric, media, and advocacy are offered for general reading and discussion. They do not establish representation, organize a campaign on your behalf, or provide individual legal or professional advice. The site does not speak for people or organizations featured in an article.
Sources and interpretation
Historical accounts and critical readings require context. Where an exact quotation, date, or claim matters to your own work, consult the cited source and distinguish evidence from interpretation. Examples of propaganda or discriminatory language are discussed for analysis, not as an invitation to repeat harm.
Current circumstances may change after an article is written. We cannot guarantee completeness, uninterrupted availability, or that a particular interpretation will resolve every question. Third-party sites control their own material and terms.
Sharing responsibly
You may link to an article and quote where permitted by law. Preserve the meaning of a passage and provide attribution. Substantial reproduction, image reuse, or use of third-party works may require permission from the relevant rights holder.
Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, send harmful files, impersonate someone, or use correspondence to threaten or harass. Only share material you are entitled to provide. Sending a suggestion or correction does not transfer ownership of your original work.
Corrections and rights enquiries
Use the Contact page to identify a disputed passage, missing credit, or other concrete concern. Include the article URL and supporting source when possible. A message does not create a confidential source relationship.
These terms may be updated on this page. Nothing here removes a right or responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
