Nikita has over eight years of experience in community organizing, union organizing, and popular education development. She currently serves as the Director of Organizing for Black Lives Matter Global Network, which organizes to end state-sanctioned violence against Black people by engaging in harming mitigation tactics and modeling power. As the Director of Organizing, Nikita bottom-lines the leadership development of BLM’s membership and overall strategy for the organization.
More importantly, though, Nikita is the mother of a two-year-old son named. She looks forward to unpacking the political systems that impact all of our identities- as Black women and as parents.
